An anti-ragging cell is a committee that works to prevent ragging and to support victims of ragging.
What the anti-ragging cell does
- Helps victims of ragging
- Coordinates action by all concerned
- Follows up with cases to ensure the satisfaction of the victim
- Issues advisories to educational institutions
- Holds meetings of Inter Councils to make colleges and universities ragging free
- Holds Anti Ragging Monitoring Committee in coordination with Ministry of Education
